Initial Setup
This guide helps implementation teams, customer IT staff, and system administrators prepare AOS for first use through capacity planning, system initialization, resource preparation, and result verification. It currently focuses on AOS Work and Admin Console. Server installation procedures are outside its scope.
Recommended implementation sequence
For a local appliance, first find its IP address and confirm the service addresses before continuing with system configuration.
- Confirm infrastructure capacity, model-service quotas, and expected load.
- Configure models, Credits Conversion, and Credits Plans.
- Configure roles and accounts, then verify model access and member quotas.
- Configure branding, connect Git repositories, prepare resources, and distribute them through Explore as needed.
- Verify availability with target user accounts and complete applicable capacity and rate-limit checks.
Git integration and custom branding depend on the scenario. Consult technical references when needed.

Verify first-use results
- Model connection tests succeed and target users have the required model permissions; see Model configuration.
- Accounts can sign in, with expected roles and Credits Plan membership; see Accounts and Credits Plans.
- Resources intended for distribution are published and target roles can find the expected versions in Explore; see Explore distribution.
- Production capacity conclusions use actual target-environment quotas and load-test records; see Model rate limits and throughput planning.
These checks summarize the chapter completion criteria. Apply them according to the implementation scope.
