Credits Plan Configuration
1. Scope
This chapter covers configuring the Credit Plan in AOS Work. A Credits Plan defines the periodic and daily quota rules that an administrator configures for customer accounts.
2. Configuration Entry
- Use a AOS Work administrator account for the customer environment to enter the Admin Console.
- In the left menu, go to System → Credits.
- Open the Plan management tab.
The plan list provides the following operations and information:
- New create plan: Create a Credits Plan;
- Search plans: Search plans;
- Plan: Plan name;
- Billing period: Quota period;
- Period limit: Maximum Credits for each quota period;
- Daily limit: Maximum daily Credits;
- Members: Members assigned to the plan;
- Status: Plan status.
3. Pre-creation Checklist
Before creating a plan, confirm with the customer:
- The plan name and purpose, such as distinctions by department, role, or usage intensity;
- The quota period (Billing period);
- The maximum quota per period (Period limit);
- The maximum daily quota (Daily credit limit);
- The members to include in the plan;
- That the administrator has Credits management permission and the customer's internal cost budget and quota rules have been confirmed.
Enter the plan name, quota values, and member scope according to the confirmed quota policy.
4. Create a Credits Plan
- On the Plan management page, click New create plan.
- In the Create plan dialog, fill in Plan name. This field is required.
- Optionally fill in Plan description to record the plan purpose, applicable scope, or internal notes.
- In Billing period, select the quota period confirmed by the customer. This field is required.
- In Period limit, enter the maximum Credits available for each quota period. This field is required.
- In Daily credit limit, enter the maximum Credits available per day. This field is required.
- In the Members area, select target members from Available members and use the arrow to move them to Selected members.
- Check the plan name, period, period quota, daily quota, and member scope, then click Save plan.
5. Post-save Verification
After saving successfully, return to the plan list and verify:
- The new plan name matches the configuration record;
- Billing period is correct;
- Period limit is correct;
- Daily limit is correct;
- Members contains only the members confirmed by the customer;
- Status is Active, or the product interface clearly shows that the plan is available.
If the member scope or quota values are incorrect, do not use an extra-credit grant to conceal the plan configuration error. Correct the plan first, then recheck member usage.
6. Plan Assignment and Switching Rules
- An account can have only one active Credits Plan at a time.
- If an account switches to another Plan while its current Plan is active, the new Plan immediately becomes the account's only active plan when it takes effect.
- When switching Plans, the old Plan's period usage and daily usage do not transfer to the new Plan. The new Plan's period usage and daily usage are both recalculated from
0. - The new Plan's period quota, daily quota, and subsequent usage display follow the new Plan's configuration.
When configuring or changing member assignments, first confirm whether the member already has an active Plan. After switching, return to the account usage page and verify that the new Plan's period usage and daily usage start from 0.
7. Grant Extra Credits to an Individual Member
When a member temporarily needs more quota than the current plan provides, use the Extra credits feature. Extra credits are temporary credits added on top of the member's current plan; they do not modify the original Credits Plan and automatically expire on the configured Valid until date.
Steps:
- Go to Account → Accounts.
- Find the target member and open the more-actions menu (
...) on the right side of the member row. - Select Grant extra credits.
- In the dialog, confirm the current Period remaining and Daily remaining.
- In Apply extra credits to, choose whether the extra credits apply to the period quota or daily quota.
- Enter the additional amount in Extra credits.
- Set Valid until and confirm the expiration date.
- Click Grant credits.
- In Extra grant history for this user, verify the grant time, amount, scope, and expiration date.
An extra-credit grant must have a clearly identified member and purpose, with a traceable record retained. It does not change the original plan's period, period quota, daily quota, or member scope.
8. Initialization Completion Criteria
Credits Plan initialization is complete when all of the following conditions are met:
- The plan required by the customer has been created in System → Credits → Plan management;
- The plan period, period quota, and daily quota all come from the customer's confirmed quota rules;
- Members have been correctly assigned to Selected members;
- After saving, the plan status is Active or clearly available;
- Member period usage and daily usage displays have been spot-checked;
- It has been confirmed that each account has only one active Credits Plan at a time. If a switch occurs, the new Plan's usage starts from
0; - If extra credits are used, the expiration date and extra-grant record have been verified;
- Conversion ratios belong to model configuration. This chapter configures only the Credits Plan period and member quotas and does not repeat model Token conversion configuration.
